Day 71

Dr. Dixon led the morning meeting: Here we are on our 72nd Day at Indianapolis Baptist Temple. I'll be frank with you. It sort of rocked my boat yesterday when I heard that the Assistant Attorney Genera Eric Holder was still in power in the Justice Department.

Pastor Greg Dixon and Attorney Al Cunningham are still in meetings in Washington today. They will call us when they find out anything. Let us keep them in prayer today. We are praying that they will meet with the right people who will help us. 

This morning's paper said that it looks like Ashcroft will be confirmed. We will ask Ashcroft if he will do anything for us. We don't know. We will find out. This is the first time in history that a Republican Judge and a Republican Supreme Court have said that they don't want anything to do with God.

According to Revelation 2 and 3, every local church is on probation. Because the Lord Jesus said, "Except you repent I will come and remove your candlestick." The doctrine of the church is not on probation, but local churches are. The gates of Hell will not prevail against it. 

Moses was a man that would not get out of the way. We are praying intercessory prayers. God said to Moses to get out of the way, I am going to kill them. But Moses intervened and asked God, "If you destroy your people, what will the heathen say? 

If it hadn't been for God intervening in my life, we would have gone on in the big church syndrome. I believe that God led me into this howling wilderness. We can pray the same prayer. Do you want us to be the laughing stock of the world, the preachers, the patriots, and the militia?

God told Solomon what he would do after he sent trouble to Israel and if they turned their face toward him in I Chronicles 7:14 - "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

Probation is not new to God's people. God is going to give the churches opportunity to say, "Yeah or Nay." Who is on the Lord's side? They believe that God has spoken through the government. Government is God to them. Why would they want it any different?

Pastor Vance Willett suggested the following scriptures: In Isaiah 41:21 it says, "Produce your cause, saith the Lord; bring forth your strong reasons, saith the King of Jacob." That means to bring your cause before God. We have done that. 

In Isaiah 43:26, it says to "Put me in remembrance; let us plead together; declare thou. That thou mayest be justified." Remind God what he has said or promised.

Our goal is not to win but to be a witness to the highest levels. We want to be a witness of the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our lives and in his church.

Pastor Otwell then shared this thought. What good would a free pulpit do for us if we don't preach the whole counsel of God?

Pastor John Brown shared these scriptures: Isaiah 40:45 - "Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill shall be made low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain; And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together; for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken." 

In Isaiah 41:8,10,17 - "But thou, Israel, are my servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham my friend. Fear thou not; for I am with thee; be not dismayed; for I am thy God; I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. When the poor and needy seek water, and there is none, and their tongue faileth for thirst, I the LORD will hear then, I the God of Israel will not forsake them."

The morning meeting ended in prayer around the altar.

Dr. Dixon led the evening service. 

Steve Kukla sang, "He Was There All The Time" before he led the congregational singing. Celesta Anderson then sang, "Sweet Beulah Land, " then Steve sang, "Look To Him."

Dr. Dixon then spoke: I thought that was quite a statement that the pastor made on TV last night when he said that they wouldn't conquer Washington in one day. They will be back tonight. They feel like they have accomplished everything they could. Another reason that they are coming home is, that it is possible that our friends will be here in the morning. I am telling you with understanding that it may not be true. We need to get ready. We need to get people in here. Sleep in your clothes. Be watching. It may be a false alarm, but we need to be prepared.

Let me go over the instructions again… Dr. Dixon gives specific instructions on what to do when the marshals come in. It was to sit down where you are until you are ordered out. If you want to be carried out, come down to the altar, kneel and pray.

If they don't come in, we will all meet at 9:30 in the morning and get a report from Pastor Greg A. and from Attorney Al Cunningham.

People ask, "Why aren't there more here?" How many got baptized at Pentecost? 3,000. How many more were baptized a few days later? 5,000 men, besides women and children. You are talking about around 15,000 believers just the first week after Pentecost, just in Jerusalem. Can you imagine how much of an impact that it had on that city? Even in this city, what an impact that would make. But how many were called before the council and commanded not to preach in His name? Just his disciples. Just a few. They couldn't bring all 15,000 before the council. You are the ones who answered the call. You are the ones that are here. Thank the Lord!

If you don't want to get in on the fun, and sleep here tonight, then get up at 5 am and come over here for the day. We are an equal opportunity church. We give everybody an opportunity to serve the Lord. 

I want to read you an article that I wrote in the Trumpet in January 1997. It is titled, "Not For Profit Religion." It is based on Jeremiah, chapter 2. Jeremiah the prophet said this over 2600 years ago. In verse 8, "The priest said not, "Where is the Lord?" Well, why not? It was because they weren't interested in the Lord at all. The average church doesn't care where God is. They are just interested in where they are. 

"They that handled the law [like Judge Barker, the 7th Circuit, the Supreme Court] knew me not. The pastors also transgressed against me and the prophets prophesy by Baal. And walked after things that do not profit them." 

What did Paul say? Paul said that they came together not for the better but for the worst in I Corinthians 11. Can you imagine churches that it would be better if they didn't even meet.

Let me go back to the words, "and walked after things that do not profit them. I sat there literally stunned when I read those words because that is exactly what religion is in America today. They have made a confession for benefits for not for profit gifts. They have declared publicly that they are not for profit. And they admit it. They are not even embarrassed. They are not even ashamed. 

Then the prophet Jeremiah continued in verse 11, with, "Hath the nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? But my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit." Not for profit organizations. And they have to confess that they are not for profit organizations. Twice you read the words, not for profit in verses, 8 and 11. Twice, this faithful prophet of God referred to the fact that Israel's religion did not profit or was of no value. 

Daily, we receive mail from religious organizations with the not for profit indicia on the envelope. Even some of the churches, along with the 501 (c)(3) not for profit organizations, seem quite proud to place Inc. on their stationary after their name, and in reality they are being honest. That is what they are. They are a not for profit organization and not a church. It is now clear that if the churches want to put themselves under the yoke of government and licensure, then they will have to wear the mark of the beast [government] on their veil if they want the benefits and privileges of government rather than the rights and blessings of Christ, the rightful king of his Church. 

The prophet explains what he means by these words, "Do not profit." You will find this in verses 13 and 14. "For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water. Is Israel a servant: is he a home born slave? Why is he spoiled?"

Listen to me my friends. We started out in America as sons and kings. Based on 1 Peter, we were king priests. 

Israel transgressed. They weren't supposed to be servants. God didn't make them to be servants. God made them to be the head and not the tail. But they became the tail. They became the lowest, the basest, of nations. Why is he spoiled? Why are we spoiled? Did you know that our tax rate now is over 50%, if you add all the taxes together. 

Did you know that Clinton forgave billions of dollars of 3rd world debt? Who is going to pay that. If he forgives the debt, who is going to pay the debt? We will. Do you think for one minute now that the United States is the creditor? Do you believe that? The US does not own the money. They only guarantee the loan. The United States is going to be surety. Clinton was telling these countries that they didn't have to pay this money back to the International Monetary Fund because the U.S. is the guarantee of the loan. The United States of America is going to pay it for you. All these 3rd world countries go to the International Bank and whine. And Uncle Sugar will sign for them. 

What did Proverbs say? Do not be surety. What does that mean? That means that you will be the one to pay up when someone else defaults.

Why would Mr. Clinton want to do such a thing, as forgive those billions of dollars in debt. Well, if you plan to be the president of the World and president of the United Nations, and he has forgiven all those 3rd world countries their debt, they are going to vote for him. Now you understand why he makes all those trips around the world.

Why are we spoiled? We are spoiled because there is a nation that hath changed their gods, which are yet no gods. Like priest, like people. The people are a reflection of the pastors and the preachers. 

You hear, "Well, I think the government needs to do something about those criminals." Yet, why doesn't the church do something about those sinners. If the church won't discipline its members, then why would society discipline its members. How tragic that as Israel of old, the church of the Lord Jesus Christ, is now of no profit to our Lord but is profitable as a cash cow for the government, her new master, as it collects and remits taxes of her employees as hirelings according to John 10:11-14, and browbeats her members to also support a wicked state with a wicked tax system. Pay your taxes. Pay your taxes. Pay your taxes. The greatest sin as far as the preachers of America are concerned is if you don't pay your taxes. Render unto Caesar, render unto Caesar, render unto Caesar…. 

The palace pastors will never preach for the abolishment of the Federal Reserve System or the Internal Revenue Service because they are dependent on their tax exempt status and the not for profit gift for their existence. They couldn't exist without them. Neither will they denounce the hidden things of dishonesty as stated in II Corinthians 4:2. 

The entire religious structure of America materially is resting on the economic foundation of this Babylonian economic system, which is designed to silence the pulpit as we move into the New World Order of the anti-Christ and his minions. It is not enough that we use the excuse that we don't have to be concerned about these things because of the Rapture of the Church. This type of thinking is a perversion of that great doctrine. 

Titus 2:13-15 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

It is the height of dishonesty for the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ to hold itself out to the state as not for profit business organizations to receive benefits from the hand of Caesar when our promise is, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19.

How can the church of this untoward generation face the early church at the Judgment Seat of Christ who for his namesake they went forth taking nothing of the Gentiles in III John 7. 

Isaiah spoke of these things in Isaiah 56 verses 10-11; His watchman are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. (or to his denomination) 

God's preachers who are to be the watchdogs are being neutralized by the filthy lucre of tax breaks, which violates the scriptures. When we think of the words, do not profit, we think of the church at Laodicea. They were neither hot nor cold but lukewarm. Since they were of no value, God said "I will spew thee out of my mouth." If you take something into your mouth, and it is of no value, what do you do? You spit it out. The church today has traded its covenant status as the Bride of Christ, the body of Christ, that is profitable as light and salt. Is light profitable? I guarantee it is. They have traded their light and salt that has value for that which is of no value. 

One day God spoke to my heart and said, "Son, let me ask you a question?" In your lifetime, could you go out and drag in enough wood, hay and stubble to fill this auditorium, by yourself with no help, no associates, no deacons, no Sunday School teachers, and no bus workers. Could you do it?" I said, "Yes, it would take some time but I could do it." God asked, "In your lifetime, could you fill this auditorium with gold, silver and precious stones." I said, "No, Lord." That is what churches are doing today, filling their churches full of wood, hay and stubble. Yes, I have filled this church with plenty of wood, hay and stubble and had them baptized. When persecution came, they vacated.

IRS Agent Melvin Blough testified in Federal court today that once a Church obtains the status of 501 (c) (3) under the IRS code they are trapped. The only way to be removed from a 501 (c) (3) is if the IRS chooses to remove the status. So if you dissolve the corporation and continue on as ABC church an unincorporated church, you're still trapped in their web and under their control.

Further, the agent testified that a church is automatically exempt under Federal Law without a 501 (c) (3) designation. He further stated under oath that churches request the status just to get the government's stamp of approval. 

Now, we removed this church from the Internal Revenue Service status as a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization officially in 1996; unofficially in 1983. But the IRS declared, on May 11th, 1995 that we were no longer a tax-exempt organization. Which means we are a fraudulent church. In order to be a legal church, in America today, you have to be recognized as a 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization by the IRS. 

Now do you understand why the 7th Circuit said, concerning the Baptist Temple, "Whatever it is! It doesn't make any difference what it is!" Now do you understand why Judge Barker said, "They say they're a New Testament church?"

Now, we are going to John Ashcroft asking him to intervene just as Paul went to Caesar. We must be a witness against this man. Is he genuine? Let us find out. He says he is a believer. We can go to him and tell him that the Lord's church is being persecuted and find out what he does. 

Dr. Dixon went on to share more about the tentacles associated with being a 501(c)(3) organization and those that want benefits from the new faith-based organization plan that President George Bush has set up.

Then he gets to the last page and we finally find out what they are talking about. Thus, a provider may not exclude from its programs, beneficiaries belonging to other denominations or religions. There is the United Nations new statement on religion. A provider cannot require a beneficiary to adopt a particular religion or have them become members in a particular church… If you are a 501(c)(3) church, you are a part of the National World Council of Churches. That even means all the Independent Baptist Churches that are 501(c)(3). That means that your church is equal to all the churches and religions in the world and in order to get this money from the government, you have to make this same confession.

Jeremiah said that the day would come when men will call evil good, and good evil. The average preacher in America believes that the government is good and that this church is bad.

The service ended in prayer for the special prayer requests and for the church here in its 71st day of redress of grievance.
